Fall Punch Review!!!

Oh My Gosh! This punch was perfect for tonight!! The cauldron and dry ice made the food part of the night for me!!! I personally would cut the sugar a bit it was a tiny bit too sweet for me but I will definitely use this recipe again!! Pictures will be posted as soon as I get them from the Memory card of Kelly the book club lady:)

Halloween Party Food and Game Ideas!!

Food

Caramel Popcorn Balls

Deviled Eyeballs : Make deviled eggs, then before putting yolk mixture into the egg add a small amount of blue food coloring to make it a soft green color. Next put a sliced olive with a pimento or small piece of red pepper in the middle and use red food coloring paste to draw on viens for blood shot eyes!!

Seven Layered Spiderweb: make dip as usual in a round dish and then mix sour cream and a small amount of water or milk until thin enough to pipe onto dip in circles starting from the out side and getting smaller into the center, then take tooth pick and drag it through the dip to create a spider web effect!

Mary's Bloody Salsa: I like to make my own Salsa by putting cilantro, onion, tomatoes, garlic, salt, mexican seasoningand Lemon juice in a food processor, and VIOLA you have a yummy salsa!

Fried Skin: Tortilla Chips that go with the SALSA!!

RiceKrispie Treat Web:

Mix 3/4 cup of peanut butter and 2 cups chocolate chips together in a microwavable dish and put in microwave for 1 min. Stir and put back in for 30 seconds at a time until all chips are melted (do not over cook). Pour about1/3 of the mixture over 3 cups of rice krispies. Shape into a 10 in circle with higher sides on an ungreased plate or cookie sheet then pour remaining chocolate in the middle of the cereal circle filling in the "hole" you made in your cirlcle. Then put 1/4 a cup of peanut butter into a zip lock back and pipe it onto the chocolate in circles starting from the outside and using a tooth pick pull it from the inside out until it creates the spiderweb! Place spider in the web for extra affect! (see nearby picture!!

Games

Mummy Wrap: For this game split into small even teams give each team one or two rolls of toilet paper and start a timer for 2 minutes. Whoever wraps the mummy first, and the best is the winner!!!

Donut Eating Contest: String donuts across a room one for each participant signal to start the game and whomever can bite the donut off the string and chew and swallow it completely first is the winner!

Halloween Survivor: Determine how many rounds you'd like to have (I recommend no more than 4/5 or else you'll loose your guests attention); have a "challenge" for each round such as how many words can you make out of the word "Halloween," pictionary, eat something gross, unscramble spooky words, find the pumkin (hide one ahead of time) etc. The winner earns immunity and cannot loose that round, then at the end of each round pass out a card to every contestant in the game the person who receives the joker is out (if you have 8 or more constestants I recommend that you "eliminate" 2 per round).

Halloween Scavenger Hunt: Split group into teams of 5/6 and give them a list of halloween costumes to track down either on people or door to door, they must find the costume and take a picture of it with at least one team member in the shot; award extra points for silly faces:)

Movie Guessing: A week or so before the party ask members of your party to reenact their favorite Scary or Halloween movie scene and record it then split into teams and try to guess what each movie is based on.
